

Delia Fuentes Molina was born on May 12, 1965, in Corpus Christi, Texas and passed away on May 30, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was a loving and kind woman whose warmth touched everyone who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life.
Delia was the beloved daughter of the late David Fuentes and the late Maria Alvarado. She grew up with a strong sense of family and carried those values throughout her life. She is survived by her husband, Rey Molina; her sons, Nico Molina and Max Molina; her brother, David Fuentes Jr.; and her sister, Corina Cervantes.
Delia was a proud Harlingen Cardinal, graduating from Harlingen High School in 1982. She later moved to San Antonio when she fell in love with her husband, Rey. Together, they shared 34 years of marriage. It was in San Antonio where they laid the foundations of their family and raised their two sons.
She was also a proud Roadrunner and worked hard to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2006. Her commitment and desire to make a difference led her to a meaningful career as an elementary school teacher with Northside ISD. In the classroom, she was known for her patience, encouragement, and genuine care for her students and her fellow educators.
Outside of her work, Delia embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She enjoyed movies, shopping, snuggling with her baby dog, Pablo, and spending weekends with her husband and her boys. She loved dancing, going on cruises, traveling to Las Vegas, supporting Roadrunner football, and attending concerts. Her infectious laughter, her sense of humor, and her radiant spirit made every gathering brighter and every occasion unforgettable.
Delia will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the kindness she extended to others, and the humor that brought smiles to those around her. She lived her life with grace, devotion, and a deep appreciation for service. She embraced the simple joys that made each day meaningful. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her husband, children, extended family, former students, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness, Delia Fuentes Molina’s memory will remain a source of comfort and inspiration. Her life was a testament to love, faithfulness, and the enduring strength of family. She will be remembered always with affection, gratitude, and deep respect.
A Celebration of Delia’s Life will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary - West, 1710 West Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78251 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Friday, June 26th, 2026.
