Demencio shared a beautiful and enduring love with his beloved wife, Maria Campos. Their marriage was built on devotion, strength, and countless cherished memories through the many seasons of life. Together they faced life's joys and challenges hand in hand, creating a home filled with love and resilience. A skilled welder by trade, Demencio took great pride in his work. Among his many accomplishments, he helped weld one of San Antonio's most recognizable landmarks, the Tower of the Americas in Hemisfair Park a lasting testament to his craftsmanship and dedication. He was also known as a talented handyman who could fix nearly anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Demencio found his greatest happiness outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping, and treasured every opportunity to spend time in nature. Family members fondly remember the years spent doing farm work in Wisconsin, where Demencio's tireless work ethic and perseverance helped shape not only his own character but also that of his children. Through his example, they learned the value of hard work, responsibility, and caring for the land lessons that will remain with them for generations.
Above all, Demencio was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His quiet strength, generous spirit, and steadfast love for his family were the foundation of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of integrity, perseverance, and unconditional love that will continue to live on through those who knew him.
