Michelle was a caring mother, partner, sibling, aunt, cousin, teacher, friend and so much more. Throughout her life, she achieved many of her personal and professional goals. She loved the Lord and her faith and devotion were tangible. From a young age her caretaking nature left a big impression on the family and she has since been the “Rock of the Family” and the protector of their hearts. She believed in doing the right thing even when no one was watching and could be counted on in times of need. She motivated others to be their best and had a laugh that could capture a room. Michelle committed her life to educating her children, nieces and nephews and supporting her family and husband. She spoke with pride about all her family and friends and always spoke with a smile when talking about her grandchildren.
Michelle held a love of science that drove her professional ambitions. She achieved a Bachelors and Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Texas San Marcos and University of Texas San Antonio, respectively. She began her career in laboratory sciences applying her knowledge and love of chemistry then quickly became an Adjunct Professor at University of the Incarnate Word. She ended her career back with her passion working in the laboratory.
Michelle’s accomplishments are beyond all our beliefs. We will all miss you, Michelle and our hearts break knowing you are not here.
