Denise M. Quintero Sgt. SanFillipo

She was a 2002 graduate of Fox Tech High School and entered the US Marine Corps on August 19, 2002.

She met her husband, Sgt. David J. SanFillipo, USMC in 2004 in Okinawa, Japan. They married on March 18, 2005. Their son, Paul was born July 6, 2006 and daughter, Isabella on October 2, 2008.

She was awarded the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal lieu of 2nd Award, Humanitarian Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Navy Unit Commendation, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Sea Service Deployment lieu of 2nd Award. Denise is survived by her husband, Sgt. David J. SanFillipo, USMC; son, Paul David SanFillipo and daughter, Isabella Marie SanFillipo all of Vista, CA; her mother, Sylvia G. De Anda; Daddy, John H. Flores; sisters: Debra L. Quintero and husband, Joe Camacho; and Melissa A. Flores; brother, John C. Flores; stepsisters: Vicky Quintero and Desiree Quintero; stepbrothers: John Michael Flores and Eric Rey Flores; grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Ramiro Garzes; nieces and nephews: Brianna, her Goddaughter, Karah, Victoria, Joseph, and Jacob all of San Antonio ; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

Visitation will begin Friday, October 17th at 12:00/Noon at Porter Loring on McCullough.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in her memory, be presented to her husband, David, for a fund that will be designated for charitable contributions later.
