Dennis Wayne Griffin, Jr., age 63, died on December 15, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas of natural causes. He was born on October 9, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to his parents Dennis Wayne Griffin, Sr. and Ruby Marie Holton Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a faithful member of the Presbyterian church and served as an elder at Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Texas Tech University. Mr. Griffin loved his family, his church family, his work family and his friends. He enjoyed travel, the Texas Tech Red Raiders and was a very avid Spurs fan. He worked many years in the hotel industry with Extended Stay America Hotels in Austin and San Antonio. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Jim McCann; sister Kay Griffin; and his nephews, James and Ryan McCann.
