Dennis Lafferty

CSM Lafferty passed away unexpectedly Saturday. He was a 30 year Army Military Police Veteran, upon retirement, he and his wife, Tina moved to San Antonio, Texas, where he became active in many areas. He became a master mason in 2003 and started down a road of dedicated service, becoming the worshipful master, then secretary for his lodge Charles W. Anderson, 1413. He was also a National Sojourner and Hero of 76. In 2003, he began a long commitment to the Army All-American Bowl, first as host, then as the Chairperson for the Host Committee. He is loved and will be incredibly miss by his wife Tina, mother Betty, brothers George, Mike, Tom, Sisters Sue, Nancy, Brother-in-Law Bob Richards and wife Karen, numerous nieces, nephews, and many loyal, loving friends and his three fur babies, Percy, Ella and Wall.E

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 3PM at Sunset Funeral Home. A Reception will be held the next day at 1PM at the Charles W Anderson Masonic Lodge, 10103 Eveningway Dr; San Antonio, Texas 78233. In Lieu of flowers the family request donations to Charles W. Anderson Lodge, or National Sojourners, to the Americanism Fund.
