Mr. Dennis C. Nordley

Dennis Clair Nordley went to his eternal home on June 25, 2025, at the age of 86. He is survived by his beloved children Jay Robert Nordley and Cheryl Lynn Nordley Henk (Jimmy). Dennis will always be lovingly remembered as Papa to his grandchildren, Cody Nordley (Winifred), Brandon Nordley (Maggie), Grace Nordley, Jessica Aaron (Bryan), Jamie Caddell (Justin), and Jason Henk. Great grandfather to De’Juan Hill, Chloe Aaron, Kenzie Aaron, Carsyn Caddell, and Claire Caddell. Dennis was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Martha Nordley, father, Lt. Col. Robert C. Nordley, mother Olga Tvedt Nordley, sister Roberta Nordley Phipps, and sister Beverley Nordley Turner.

Dennis worked for many years in the food brokerage business and later as a car salesman. He was an avid sportsman, particularly loving the game of golf and hunting. Moreso, he reveled in a good joke, a cold margarita, the finest cigars and above all else, spending time with his beloved family.

The family will receive guests at 9:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2025, at Porter Loring North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas, 78232. Interment will follow at Mission Burial Park North.
