Detective Russell B. Peters passed away Thursday, September 5, 2002 at the age of 51. He was a beloved husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He was a police officer for S.A.P.D. for 21 years assigned to Vice Unit. He is survived by his wife Susan S. Peters; daughters Kimberley Peters, and Kristi Peters; son Bryan Peters; parents E.A. and Carmen Peters; sister and brother-in-law Darlene and Dan Meixner; nephew Steven Wise; great niece Samantha Wise all of San Antonio, TX. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 o'clock until 3 o'clock at Castle Hills First Baptist Church.The Rev. Randy Aaron officiating.
