Diana Dimas entered into eternal rest surrounded by family on August 27, 2026, in San Antonio TX at the age of 54. Her cunning wit, infectious smile, and steadfast loyalty will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Diana was preceded in death by Juan and Petra C. Dimas (paternal grandparents), Alejandro and Elvira N. Martinez (maternal grandparents), and Manuela Nava Valero (maternal great grandmother).
Diana is survived by her parents, Domingo and Andrea Dimas, sister Petra A Dimas, extended family, and friends.
Diana worked in higher education for most of her career. The most rewarding for her was when she worked directly with students; with dental students at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio, an advisor in the Feik School of Pharmacy and assistant registrar at the University of the Incarnate Word. She used her own life experiences of earning her degrees to help students on their path to success. She was a cheerleader, counselor, and life coach to any student who needed. Her greatest accomplishments were the graduates and Doctors who fulfilled their dreams. They went from being her students to calling her friend.
Diana was an avid music lover who loved to go on adventurous Texas road trips with her best friend, Melida to see musicians. Their unshakable love for Tori Amos had them following her to out-of-state venues for unforgettable experiences.
Diana loved her family and friends with an enthusiasm that was true and comforting. She has now gone home to continue her work.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridging Resources – Connecting Solutions in her name.
