Diana Reber Ferguson

Mrs. Diana Reber Ferguson, age 77 of Spring Branch, Texas passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. She was born on November 28, 1946, in Manhattan, Kansas to parents, Ralph Edward and Alice Marie (Urbach) Reber.

Diana attended Kansas State University and was an avid Kansas State Wildcat fan whose passion for the purple and white knew no bounds. She completed her undergraduate degree at Central Michigan University, and later she earned an MBA from the University of Texas San Antonio.

Diana owned and operated a thriving embroidery business, “In Stitches”. With skillful hands and a gentle heart, she brought beauty to the world through her intricate embroideries. In addition to her artistry as an embroider, she enjoyed creating through needlework, crafting and gifting family, friends, and strangers with her beautiful creations.

Diana and her husband, Jim are members at Bulverde Methodist Church and were long time members of Northern Hills United Methodist Church. Diana was always eager to serve in her church community. She enjoyed helping with children’s choir, Vacation Bible School, supporting Emmaus retreat pilgrims, hosting youth group gatherings, Bible Study Fellowship and singing with the church praise team. In innumerable ways, Diana has shared her talents and spirit of joy with all who were blessed to know her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alice Reber; and brother, Tim Reber.

Diana is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Jim Ferguson; son, Kenneth E. Ferguson and his wife, Melanie; daughter, Clare Ferguson Bravo and grandson, Sebastian Bravo; brother, Ted Reber; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Friday, March 8, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio 78232.
