Diana was born in Astoria, Queens, and grew up in Bayside, New York, surrounded by a large, loving family that included her four siblings—Carol, Barbara, Chuck, and Joey—her parents, Helen and Charles, and her Grandma Rose.
She made her final home in San Antonio, Texas, with her daughter, Valentina, who spent the last four years ensuring she received devoted care, lots of love and had many happy moments in her final years.
She will be fondly remembered for her loving spirit, infectious laughter, and enduring creativity. Diana had a singular gift for creating a home full of warmth and welcome wherever she went. Her deep love for art was matched only by her even deeper love for people. Taking care of others wasn't just something she did; it was who she was, expressed through every act of kindness, every thoughtful gesture, and the remarkable way she made everyone feel seen and truly loved.
A natural host who could light up any room, Diana poured her deepest passion into everything she did for her children. Her daughters were her greatest joy, a devotion beautifully captured in one of her favorite traditions: baking special, custom birthday cakes. These creations were her tangible way of showing each child how important they were and how much she treasured being their mother.
Diana’s greatest joy in life were her daughters: Jessica, Frencesca, Valentina, and Olivia. She was endlessly proud of them, and they will forever carry her strength, spirit, and unconditional love in their hearts.
She will continue to be cherished by all who knew her, and her love will live on through the countless lives she profoundly touched.
