The Redfield family just heard of Diane's passing.  She was a bright light in our cul de sac and a great neighbor.
Her commitment to family and her unwavering  support of her children, and everyone she touched,  to be all they could be was contagious.   We would love to hear from the family!!!

Diane was such a ray of sunshine in everyone’s life that met her. I met Diane in 2017, when I put my little girl in pre-k at Ott Elementary. I was nervous and Diane reassured me that she would be okay and greeted us every time we came in the office. She engaged with my toddler as well, every time we came in. From her warm hugs, walking kids to class or just words of encouragement...she was incredible. She knew all the children’s names, parent’s names and made people feel special. After we left Ott, we became Facebook friends and stayed in touch. I am so incredibly sad that we lost Diane and for her family. She is truly one of a kind. We send our deepest condolences, Rest In Peace Diane.

I could tell Diane had a wonderful spirit about her from the first time I met her.   She was funny,  kind,  caring,  and fierce.  I loved dancing with her at different gatherings we attended,   hearing her talk about her children,  and she would make me laugh until I cried.   She will be missed! 

Don and our Family ask our Heavenly Father and his son our Savior Jesus Christ to give comfort and peace to Johnnie, John and Alexia. Diane will always be remembered as a wonderful daughter, wife and doting Mother to their children. Who have grown into a young man and a young woman whom both parents have raised to be respectable loving people who will carry on traits of their mother and father for the rest of their lives. Diane ‘s memory will be carried in their hearts along with their great memories of their loving Mother who has taught them so much about life which they will pass along to their future spouses and children and grandchildren.  We are thankful to know the Garza Family and pray for them to take one day at a time to get thru this great loss. God bless you all.

I was blessed to have met Diane in 2020 through the CCW girls.....I knew from the first moment of introduction that she had a kind soul and a pure heart.

Diane, You were the first person I met at Ott Elementary when I registered my son 8 years ago and, just like I always told you, you made such an impression on me. You were such a bright, beautiful light and you showed so much love to all of those children. To finally work with you after getting to know you over the years was such an honor. Thank you for our talks about our kids, our parents, the funny texts you would send, the advice you gave and the encouragement to keep climbing. I can't imagine going through life not having met you, not laughing with you, not crying with you, and not learning from you. You have forever left an impression on my heart. My love and condolences go out to Johnny, Alexia, and John as they lay this amazing woman, wife, and mother to rest.

Diane came back into my life several years ago, we had known each other in high school. She embraced me with her friendship and kindness, she was a giver, sending little gifts from Amazon or treating me to dinner.  She would send me funny jokes all the time and we always had a good laugh over her Facebook posts. I will miss you so much my friend. Our girlfriend's get togethers won't be the same but you will always be in our hearts.  My condolences to Johnny, Lexi and John.

And this is who our beautiful friend Diane was, Light.I had the pleasure of meeting her about four years ago. We have a group of ladies who celebrate our birthdays and sister hood.  I loved her wit and smile. She had an amazing soul and a very loving heart. She spoke of her beautiful Lexi, Johnny and her husband John with so much joy.  We shared many fun dinners, celebrations and one or two margarita’s! Thank you Debi Rhorer and Carmen Fuentes for bringing Diane into our group, which by the way, her husband chose a very unique name for our group #CCW’S
Diane you left us too soon, you will always have a special spot at our celebrations. Thank you for all your Love and friendship. Our hearts are weeping with you John, Lexi and Johnny. You are in our prayers and words cannot express our sorrow and sadness we feel for the loss of your beautiful Diane. May God bring you comfort in all the love and memories you have of your wife and mother Diane.

My condolences to Diane’s family. I had the pleasure of meeting Diane over 30 years ago when she worked with my older brother and husband at AT&T. Through the years this beautiful lady would keep in touch and later we had children the same age and met up with her at Ott Elementary. Everyone loved Diane and always had something positive to say about her. I can’t imagine your family living without her! She was like the Queen Bee! She loved her family so much and now she’s become the guardian Angel from God. She’ll always be standing next to you so continue to make her proud !! Talk to her in your prayers and dreams! Diane and I were best friends since we were 18. She was Godmother to my son and my deceased husband Danny and I were Godparents to John. She will be greatly missed by my family and myself. She’s in heaven reunited with her beloved Grandma and mom Virginia and her favorite puppy “ Candy” . Love you Diane . Bless the Kids and my compadre Johnny. Love you all .

Our hearts  are heavy today, but I know that Diane is at rest in heaven, no doubt surrounded by her dogs and sitting next to her mother. Diane was a beautiful , vibrant ,loving . She was the life of the party and very very funny. I remember her picking up a dog in her neighborhood that she did not recognize she saw on her way home. She  checked the tags and 
saw that the poor pup had an address several miles away. So she took him home , called the number on the tag and left a message. While waiting for the owner to call, she bathed the dog and trimmed his nails and blew his fur dry. Finally, the phone rang and the frantic owner was very grateful , as they had recently moved. Diane said she would drive the pup home  and asked for the address. As it turns out the dog was in his own front yard when she found him. She never told the owner ,and Johnny just said Darn it Diane the poor dog can't even poop in his own yard without being "rescued " by you.  We will miss her always.

My most sincere condolences to Mr. Johnny, Alexis and John and the entire family for the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Diane who was a awesome friend and sister in Christ to many of us.  Diane was one of the most beautiful, loving and sincere persons I personally have had the pleasure of meeting and befriending. Diane was precious inside and out, she instantly became family too many of us. We were all blessed with her love, beautiful smile, humble and compassionate heart of gold.  Many beautiful memories of our friendship will be engraved in my heart, especially the one where she hugged me ever so gently, looked me in the eyes and told me that there was something very special about me,  a special glow that made her smile with joy, I told her, that it was the blood of Jesus Christ and that He alone gets all the praise and glory and she said Wow! Beautifully said, I see Jesus in you and I told her I see Him in You as well. Diane truly touched my heart that day and my personal relationship with her will always be treasured❣

You have me speechless for once Diane! Diane and I go back to our Freshmen year at Providence, where she and I began our journey together and bestfriend bond. We shared many a memory together, even though miles where placed in our path. Yet when I returned to Texas, I was privileged later in life to reunite my sisterhood with her again.  She was as I remember her in high school,  a  beautiful, kindhearted, caring, giving woman and had a heart of love.  I will always be thankful for the second walk with her. May the Lord help Johnny, John, Lexi and her many 4 legged loves through this time. I ask He calm their grief and void. You will be missed by many. Thank you for the memories and love Diane. Deb

Hi...so sorry for your loss.  I didn’t personally know Diane BUT I did know her thru my boys, Scott & Chris.  She sounds like she was an exceptional person.  I would have loved to meet her and tell her thanks for giving SO much encouragement to our boys.  May God accept her soul into His kingdom and reunite her with her precious mother.  And may your beautiful sweet memories of her fill your hearts and souls thru this difficult time.  Please take comfort that she was loved by people she had not even met. I am so sorry for your loss. Diane was an amazing friend, I have not had an opportunity to meet her in person, we had a plan to meet as soon as our world was safe again. I am sad she will not be in my life on this earth. We became friends through a Facebook group. She took my boys, who were starting their own handyman business under her wing. She hired them, liked their work and loved them as much as I do! She never failed to recommend them or comment about them with kind words! Diane gave them motherly love and helped build their confidence and their business, I will always love her for that! She and I formed a friendship through Messenger and had quite a few amazing conversations. I am grateful to have known her. She brought love and light to all who knew her! May she Rest In Peace,  God bless all of you!
