Dinny was raised in Benavides, TX, by her parents, both educators. She attended school in Benavides and Incarnate Word before graduating from Texas A&I with a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling. She dedicated 40 years to education as an elementary school teacher, bilingual teacher and middle school and high school counselor. Dinny had a passion for travel, art, and family. She loved exploring the world's cultures and traveled to over 20 countries. Like her mother, a piano instructor, she easily learned to play music and remained a lifelong lover of live and recorded music, attending countless concerts.
Dinny cherished her large and ever-growing family, holding each member close to her heart. No matter how busy life became, she made it a priority to stay connected through phone calls, messages, visits, and thoughtful check-ins. She had a special way of making everyone feel remembered and valued, keeping the family woven tightly together with her love, dedication, and unwavering presence.
Dinny was a beloved wife and is survived by her husband, Sergio Molina (Opa). She was a steadfast mother and is survived by her son, Ashley, his wife Christina and their son Albert; and her son, Sean, his wife Amy jo and their son Enzo. Dinny was a loving and proud Oma and Grandma to her grandsons Enzo and Albert. Dinny was the oldest of four and is survived by her three younger brothers and their families. She has 14 nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Graciela.
A Rosary will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Porter Loring Mortuary North. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s the Evangelist Catholic Church. A graveside service will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, with a reception to follow at Viola’s Ventanas Restaurant.
