

Dionisio "Don" Escamilla, JR., age 64, passed away on February 7, 2013, in San Antonio, TX. He was born on July 26, 1948 in San Benito, TX to Maria and Dionisio Escamilla, SR. He attended UT Pan American University and received his Master's in education from The University of Cincinnati. He is survived by his wife, Rosario Rivera Escamilla, and five children, Yvette Escamilla Arevalos, Yvonne Escamilla, Chris Escamilla, Mary Escamilla, Sara Escamilla, and four grandchildren, Alexa, Nicholas, and Avery Arevalos, and Matthew Escamilla. He is also survived by brothers Gilbert, Oscar and Edward Escamilla and his father, Dionisio Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother Maria Montemayor Escamilla and his brother David Escamilla. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Helena's Catholic Church. Don was a small business owner of Powerclean Carpet Cleaning, who dedicated his life to hard work and his family. He enjoyed gardening, carpentry, watching Spurs and Cowboys games and all kinds of new technology. We will never forget all the love you gave us. And all the time spent with you in the beautiful backyard you created. The greatest job you had was Dad --and you knocked it out of the park.
