Dixie Schaefer Creed of San Antonio, Texas passed away on July 13, 2015. She was born on March 9, 1933, in San Antonio to Sam and Emmamay Schaefer. She graduated from Jefferson High School and attended the University of Texas where she was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. Dixie was involved in real estate with her father, Sam H. Schaefer, and on her own. She enjoyed hunting and loved watching football, basketball (Go Spurs!), baseball, and tennis. She was preceded in death by her husband Curtis W. Creed and parents Sam and Emmamay Schaefer. She is survived by her daughters Cynthia Keene (Ed) of Johnson City, Roxanne Ryden-Smith (Chris)of San Antonio, her beloved granddaughters Christine Farrell (Derrick) of PA, Ella May Rudd (Billy) of ME, and Anabelle Keene of Houston, her great-grandchildren Madeline Farrell, Connor Farrell, Kingston Rudd, Sawyer Rudd and stepchildren Kenneth Creed of Stephenville and Becky Richardson of San Antonio. A private burial service was held.
