She was preceded into heaven by her parents, Federico Navarro, Jr. II and Mary Louise Gil; her brothers, Fred Navarro, Jr. III and Samuel Gonzalez.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Raymond Flores Jr.; daughters, Michelle (Leigh) Flores, Thea (Mark Napper) Flores; grandson Nicolas Napper; and her sisters, Carmen Gonzales, Mary (David) Udovich, Connie (Joe) Guajardo, Elvira "Peggy" N. (Rick) Aguilar, Theresa Romer and Monica (Rod) Troutman; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
On Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the family will receive friends at Porter Loring Funeral Home, 1101 McCullough Ave., from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a reciting of the Rosary at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at noon Catholic Mass will be held at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 1114 Willow St.
Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston at 1:45 p.m. In place of flowers, donations are being accepted to assist with funeral expenses.
