Dolores G. Garcia passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the age of 85 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on April 22, 1935 in Cotulla, Texas, she preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio G. Garza and Dolores Morales Garza; her beloved husband, Hector X. Garcia; and her siblings, Chevo, Neto and Anne.
Dolores is survived by her children, Hector, Diana, Robert (Elba) and Lisa (Zach); her grandchildren, Reggie, Nicholas, Kevy, Marissa, Bobby Jr. and Alden; her great-granddaughters, Stevie and Xochitl; her siblings, Abel, Panchita, Amada, Mary and Alicia; and her extended family and friends who loved her.
Due to restrictions on public gatherings, the Visitation at Trevino Funeral Home – 226 Cupples Road 78237 – will be limited to 50 people at a time, and the Committal Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery – 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road 78209 – will be limited to strictly 50. Face coverings will be required to be worn at all times.
The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 11th from 5 – 9:00 PM, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. On Monday, April 12th, guests will meet at Prince of Peace Catholic Church – 7893 Grissom Road 78251 – for a final viewing at 9:20 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. The burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery will take place on May 4th, 2021 at 11:30 AM.
