It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Dolores E. Mendez. She was called to the Lord on August 8, 2022 at the age of 72. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilberto I. and Enedina Z. Aguilar; late husbands, Rogelio Jimenez and David Mendez; siblings, Ramon, Rosa Maria, Juan Gilberto and Victor Gerardo, she is now reunited in heaven with her loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters, Cristina Mendez (Amanda) and Mariela Jimenez; son, Rogelio Jimenez; granddaughters, Marina Garcia, Serina Romero, Layla Mendez and Mia Mendez; grandson, Rodolpho Garcia; five great grandchildren and one on the way; sisters, Gloria, Rosa, Rosario (David) and Elisa; brother, Rodolfo (Maria) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dolores will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation for Dolores will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Divine Providence Catholic Church, 5667 Old Pearsall Rd., San Antonio, TX 78242. An internment will occur Friday, August 26, 2022 from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi - Marion, 11624 Culebra Rd., San Antonio, TX 78253.
