Donald L. Dotson

Donald L Dotson, born on February 1, 1971, passed away on January 29, 2021 a few days before his 50th birthday. He is preceded in death by his father, Jay B Dotson, and his sister, Donna Dotson Spear. He is survived by his mother, Katherine Dotson, and his sisters, Diana Dotson Lara and Debby Dotson Myrick and his brother, Danny Dotson. He has 5 nephews, 1 niece and 14 great nieces and nephews.

Donald attended St. Phillips College and worked for Melrose Warehouse for over 12 years taking pride in doing a job well done. In his off time, he was a huge San Antonio Spurs fan and an even bigger New England Patriots fan. He also enjoyed Marvel, DC Comics, Anime and Star Wars and was an avid collector of their memorabilia. He enjoyed playing Texas Hold Em with family and friends as well. Being the youngest of five children gave Donald a unique perspective of life and he offered his opinions freely. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.

Viewing and Rosary will be on February 9, 2021 at 6 pm at Sunset Funeral Home on Austin Highway. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am on February 10, 2021 at St Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
