Don graduated from St. Patrick High School Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1948 then moved to San Antonio with his family the next year. Donald was the sole caregiver for his parents until the time of their death. Donald retired at the age of 65 from Southwest Motor Transport after 40 years of loyal service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Eleanor Dvorak; brother, Richard Dvorak, and sister Jane Cranmer. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence; nieces and nephews, Paul, Stephen, Michael, Bernie, Brandy, Warren Jr., Thomas, and Markell. Don also leaves behind Arnie, Miriam, Isaiah, and Angeli Zamora, who he affectionately called his "other family." Special thanks to his long-time caregiver, Lisa Rodriguez for her dedicated service.
A Rosary will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church, Friday December 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Mass at 1:30 pm.
