We proudly reflect upon a life well-lived. A native of San Antonio, Don Frazor was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Heroically, he served our nation in the Navy from 1948 to 1951. During his time as a pilot, he met Mary Lou. The two fell in love through penning letters while he was stationed abroad, marrying on May 30th, 1953. Thereafter, they proudly welcomed a son and daughter; Richard and Melissa. Don graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1954 with a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering.
Upon earning his degree, he opened his own civil engineering company, D.R Frazor and Associates, in 1959; later renaming the company to Sunbelt Engineers. Serving as President and CEO, he successfully managed the company for around sixty years. One of his proudest achievements was working in partnership with his son, Richard, at Sunbelt for three decades. In 1968, he acquired the Frazor Ranch where he and his family enjoyed working and playing on many occasions. At the center of his heart was his family.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise and Wilbur Frazor, and son Richard Frazor. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 72 years, Mary Lou Frazor; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and John Hageman; daughter-in-law, Diane Frazor; grandchildren: Angela Hageman, Sarah and Trevor Wasik, Stephanie Wedgworth, Chelsea and Ryan Cannon and Candace Frazor; great-grandchildren Landon and Autumn Wedgworth, Marleigh and Emrie Cannon; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Please join the family in lifting Don up in prayer and love. Private services will be at a later date.
