Don Pomerantz, age 72, born in Seguin, and longtime San Antonio resident passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Kate Badash, his daughters and their families all of whom will greatly miss his special gusto: Laurie Pomerantz and Brian Callahan, Sharyn Glazer, Lisa Pomerantz and Jonathan Copplestone, Julie Pomerantz, grandchildren Sam and Jack Callahan, Ryan and Alison Glazer, Trewin and Oliver Copplestone, and stepchildren Joy and Jordan Feiner, and a host of friends. He was predeceased in death by his former wife, Hana Pomerantz and his brother, Melvin Pomerantz.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. in Beth-El Memorial Park, 1715 Austin Hwy. in San Antonio with Rabbi Allison Bergman Vann officiating.In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the charity of choice.
