Donnette I will  miss you. Your  smile and  your  hugs.

It had been some time since I last saw Donette, however she left a lasting impression to those who had the pleasure of meeting and knowing her. She was always so kind and helpful and someone who took pride in her work. She will be deeply missed. Sending my deepest condolences to her entire family and friends.

Every time I saw or spoke with Donette I use to tell her that she must of found the fountain of youth cause she always looked like she did when we first met 18 + years ago.    Though I am 11 yrs her senior she taught me the processes of work and never made me feel in adequate.  She was beautiful, full of joy and had an infectious laugh.  I am grateful to have known her and I pray for those she left behind.    Live life for her, smile and laugh for her cause you know that's how she would of wanted it.       Healing prayers to all.

My beautiful Donette Brana, I will miss you oh so terribly. You made me smile and laugh and think so much over the past 22 years, and even though you didn't marry my brother as I planned, I thought of you as my sister. I was happy for Travis to acknowledge that he was your husband as well . My fellow December baby, my fellow fire sign - ah I will miss our birthdays messages come the 7th and 14th of December. You beautiful girl, I will always remember how you blushed pink when I pointed out that it wasn't fair that you were so much prettier than me despite our similar age, how your skin was flawless. I've never been one to make friends easy, or keep them, but you were a constant in my life despite time or distance. Whenever I say "I can't " in a sassy, defeated tone I will smile at your catch phrase. I love you, DJ, and I'll see you again. Rest well, Queen. 

My deepest sympathy, Donette was a joy to work with. She always had time to help someone one learn a policy or questions. My prayers and thoughts are with the family  and friends.

I was fortunate enough to work with Donette in multiple capacities at UMR. She had the most effervescent spirit of anyone I've ever met. She was brilliant, kind, hilarious and just a wonderful friend and coworker. Her bright light had such a tremendous and far reaching impact. I will miss her every, single day.

I was so blessed to have met Donette 3 years ago, we became great friends instantly.  I loved her wittiness, compassion and spunk.  I miss our talks, or her sending me a test asking if I had a moment because she was still working and she needed help with on of the sytems we use, of course my reply to her was lady what you doing still working?   We talked about how we needed to get together and  had both agreed if we lived in the same town together we would be in trouble.  We taked about our families and grandchildren and how she had another grandchid on the way.  Mr and Mrs Jenkins you raised one of the most loving and caring people I have ever met and I will greatly miss her.

I work at UMR and Donette and I worked together on several client accounts for a number of years.   She was a very dedicated employee and our customers appreciated her so very much.    She was kind and compassionate to those within the company and her customers.   She was a trusted resource and was always working to make our clients' experience better.   Even in stressful customer situations, she was calm and always had a positive attitude.    I will miss her terribly and am praying for strength for her family and loved ones during this difficult time.    She was a wonderful person and we cared for her very much.

Donette was an incredible light in my work life, I have missed her since the day that she left for leave. We had weekly calls that always started with personal updates and we often heard of her beautiful grandchildren, she was so blessed. But, we were all so blessed to have her. I am deeply saddened, shocked, and sick about losing her from this life. I have the greatest sympathies for her family and know that the small impact that she had on me is only a tiny fraction compared to what she had to have been to her family. I will never forget her and will forever be grateful to have known her.

My deepest condolences to all who is hurting over this great loss.  I feel blessed to be able to have witnessed Donette and Chenile together laughing, enjoying life, and arguing.  It was clear they were not just sisters, but best friend, and knew how to love each other and push each other’s buttons.  Every time I witnessed their beautiful friendship it always had me wishing to have a sibling.  Chenile, I am so proud of you for your dedication and for being there in the hospital, being with her.  What a true testimony of love!  Mr and Mrs Clark, I know Donette felt that love each day at the hospital.  I hope God comforts you every day going forward. I am here for anything you may need. She will always live on.

You may be gone but you will truely be missed.  We will hold the precious  time that we spent together in our heart.  We will keep those fond memories of watching you grow into the special young lady that you were.

I worked with Donette.  Although we never met in person, I felt like she was part of my family.  We always started our calls with any personal updates.  I remember distinctly the birth of her latest little granddaughter that she was very proud of!  She was great at her job, and she worked very hard.   She had a great sense of humor too!  She helped me through so many issues. There are way too many to remember, but I could always count on her to do everything in her power to help me.  I am so sad to hear of her passing.  She had a great impact on me, and I will never forget her.  May her family and friends find the strength and peace you need in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.   I know you are heartbroken.  You will be in my prayers.  May the angels welcome you to paradise, Donette.
