Donna Jeanne Robertson

Donna was born April 27, 1931 in Hoopston, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald LaBounty and Eileen Saindon LaBounty, and her granddaughter, Morgan Claire Dunn.

Donna graduated in 1949 as valedictorian of Harlingen High School where she met her future husband, Gregory Alan Robertson. Donna graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas in 1953. She and Greg married on May 30, 1953 on their graduation day.

She moved throughout Texas as a minister's wife, always finding ways to make a difference in the communities they served. Her infectious laugh and smile would always bring joy to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Gregory Robertson, children Martha Dunn and John Robertson and his wife Terri, grandchildren Kyle, Trey and wife Crissanta, Cody, and Hanford Dunn, and great granddaughter Kennedy Dunn.

A celebration of Donna's life will be Thursday, August 31st at 2:00 p.m. at University United Methodist Church, 5084 De Zavala Rd., San Antonio.
