Rest in peace, Donna. You were one of the first and nicest people I met at the beginning of our freshman year at Linden McKinley High School.

To my beloved Donna, 
I have not been able to do this as I have some many emotions. The best I can say is we had a great few years where we learned to know and love. You gave me your family as my own, and I know my family felt the same about you. Through your positive thinking and the glass always being half full, you taught me a new way of looking at life. Because of your attitude I was again able to find my faith, and believe in the God that we both knew. I could go on forever, but will end by saying that your service was something that you would have loved, and without question the true, loving, positive Donna was present. I love you dear and God help you rest in peace.

I had the great honor of working with Donna for several years. We always had great fun talking about our grandchildren and what joy they brought us. I have been pulling for Donna every since I heard what she has been going through. She was a wonderful Mom and person I kept up with her illness with Jeff. To the Donna Shrader Family and Jim, We first met Donna in Chicago three years ago at dinner with her and Jim. 
It was a wonderful evening and we were so impressed with her warmth and great 
personality. She and Jim made such a 
great couple and complimented each other's personalities. Sally and I were 
thrilled for both of them and both were 
very deserving of their happiness. Their devotion and love for each other was evident. Donna's energy and spirit 
was so upbeat, we know it will be missed by all who knew her. To know her was to love her. Although we knew Donna for only a short 
time, we have wonderful memories of her

My dear beloved Donna, we shared so much, you were always there for me when I lived in San Antonio. Bike rides, working out, swimming in your pool, dinners out, girl talk, shopping at the Quarry. So many memories. In your illness you showed such optimisim and bravery. Even though I moved to Hawaii and we would talk for hours on the phone. I wish I would have stayed closer in touch over the past few years. When we last spoke you were so happy, that's how I will always remember you, happy and full of love for all those who loved you. I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Donna's family. She was an incredibly strong person. I worked with her several years ago when she battled cancer in one of the earlier stages and had to take a leave of absence. I was amazed at how she was able to maintain such a positive attitude in the face of such adversity. She was able to share her strength and positive outlook in supporting another team member who also was battling cancer.
