Donny W. Ellis

He was born in Downey, CA on June 1, 1962. After graduating from La Mirada High School in 1980, he served in the U.S. Navy for over 30 years, with 10 deployments, including both Persian Gulf wars. He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, and stepfather.

Donny is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of five years, Veronica Ann Ellis; his parents, Richard and Renny Ellis; 2 brothers, Rick Ellis and wife Monica, and Mike Ellis and wife Juli; 3 stepchildren, Justin, Daniel, and Mary; 2 nieces, Amanda and Becky, and 2 nephews, Michael and Andy.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 12, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
