Dora Longoria

Dora Lopez Longoria, a San Antonio resident, 88 passed away on March 3, 2025 in Corpus Christi, TX, leaving behind a legacy of devotion, love and community. Born February 13, 1937 in a ranchito near Saltillo, Coachilla, Mexico, Dora was a shining example of faith and dedication, inspiring countless lives through her active participation in the Guadalupanas and membership at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Her zest for life was contagious, as she remained a vibrant presence at the Good Samaritan Senior Citizen Center, playing volleyball until the age of 86 and softball until 55. Though she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pedro Longoria and grandson, Dante David, as well as several siblings, her memory lives on through her eldest sister, Maria Lopez, children, Alfonso (JoAnn), Edward (Lucy), Susan (Drew) and Peter (Lupita) Longoria, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio TX, 78237, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Procession will depart on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, followed by Entombment at San Fernando Cemetery & Mausoleum II.
