

Dora F. Lopez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on April 22, 1934, to Alberto Flores and Refugia Flores, Dora lived a life rooted in love, service, and devotion to family.
Dora was the heart of her home. She shared 69 beautiful years of marriage with her loving husband, Juan A. Lopez, building a life filled with faith, hard work, and unwavering commitment to one another. Together, they raised a large and loving family that was her greatest pride and joy.
She found happiness in life’s simple and meaningful pleasures. Dora loved sewing, gardening, and generously volunteering at her church, where her faith and kindness touched many lives. She was known for her gentle spirit, nurturing heart, and selfless nature, always placing the needs of others before her own.
Dora is survived by her cherished children: her sons John A. Lopez (Terri), David Lopez (Terry), George Lopez (Janie), Rudy Lopez, and Gilbert Lopez; her daughters Cynthia Vazquez, Rose Mary Monreal (Danny), Linda Ward, and Debbie Sanchez; along with her numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom will forever carry her love and legacy in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Refugia Flores; her sisters, Susie Sanchez and Sara O’Connor; her brothers, Abel Flores, Moses Flores, Adrian Flores, and Albert Flores; and her beloved great-grandson, Paul Bautista.
A Visitation will be held on December 19, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A Processional will depart from he funeral home at 9:30 am for a Church Service that will be held on December 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Victory Chapel, 1742 S. General McMullen Dr., San Antonio, TX 78237 with Interment to follow at San Jose Burial Park, 8235 Mission Rd., San Antonio, TX 78214.
Dora F. Lopez leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and family that will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
