

Dora had a joyful spirit and found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She loved singing and dancing, working on crossword puzzles, and trying her luck with lottery scratch-offs. She especially enjoyed playing Lotería, listening to oldies and conjunto music, and spending time outdoors laughing and joking with those around her. Above all, Dora cherished time with her family and took great joy in playing with and caring for her grandchildren and great grandchild, who were the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe F. Huerta and Juan C. Huerta; her sister, Mary H. Espinoza; and her brothers, Juan Huerta, Gilbert Huerta, and Javier “Mel” Huerta.
Dora is survived by her loving husband, Paul Olveda Jr.; her children, Carol Castillo (Isaac), Priscilla Gonzales (Sam), and Paul Jacob Olveda (Beatrice). She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Destiny (Antonio), Audrey (Salomon), Ethan, Aiden, Madison, Sarah, Emilio, Lorenzo, Catalina, and Camila, and her beloved great-grandchild, Jovanni.
She is further survived by her sisters, JoAnn, Sylvia, Diana, and Irma; her brothers, Hector and Robert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Dora’s love, laughter, and warm presence will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
