Eulogy
Mom was a hard worker, since she was very young, she traveled with her mother and father and siblings all the way up to the panhandle and then worked in the fields all the way down back to San Antonio. She also, worked at Ace/Bimbies manufacturing.
But what she really loved was raising her family, she helped raise 5 sons and daughters, 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She loved them all very much. She loved to cook for them all and loved to take care of all her grandchildren. One of her favorites was making deserts during the holidays.
Flower planting and taking care of her plants was a major interest. She had plants all around her home.
Going back to working hard, one time one of our brothers was roofing the house and next thing we know she is up on the roof helping. That's the kind of person she was...
She loved to have her yard nice and cut, so often you would see her cutting the grass. Yes, she was not afraid of hard work. Because of her work ethic this influenced all her children to work hard as well.
She loved home depot, because this where she would buy materials to keep her home looking beautiful. She liked to keep her home painted, once I arrived to visit and she had a paint brush in her hand. I asked what she was doing and she said painting all the rooms different colors.
Mom also, loved people around her, because she loved to talk and enjoy their company. Mom was the kind of person who was kind to all and would help anyone. This influenced us to be kind to people and help others.
She loved her coffee, every morning first thing, she also loved music and one of her favorite sayings was: "I don't know nothing"
She loved God and believed that some day we would all be together again.
We will miss you Mom.
