She was born on April 9, 1927 to parents, Manuel Felix Rodriguez and Manuela Arzola de Rodriguez. To the students in her nearly 30 year career as a teacher in the South San and San Antonio Independent School Districts, she was "Miss Rodriguez," but to everyone else, she was "Aunt Do." She will be remembered fondly for her playful spirit, quick one-liners, and sense of style.
Dora is survived by her sister, Delia Queralt; nephews John and Mark Queralt and Manuel, George, and Richard Rodriguez, and nieces Yvonne Hopkins and Diane Ferrufino.
