Doris L. Copeland

She enjoyed a career in banking with Capital National Bank in Austin as a bank officer. Later, Doris and husband, J.E. Copeland relocated and made San Antonio their home.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 34 years, J.E. Copeland, Jr.; step-son, Clinton R. Copeland; sister, Louise Wieruscheske and brother, Arthur D. Lewis.

Doris is survived by her nieces: Carolyn Commander and husband, Pete; Kim Gibson and husband, Dave; nephews: Greg Lewis and wife, Susan; Hollis Wieruscheske and wife, Felecia; step-son, Denny Copeland and wife, Karol and step-daughter, Cheryl Ferlita.

Doris was an exceptional lady and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Margarita Chavez for her years of devoted service and friendship to our beloved aunt.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Loring on McCullough.
