I have known Ms. Cruz since I was a  little girl. She and my grandmother, Silvia Morell, were very good friends. She was always so nice to me and full of life. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. 

I’ll always remember that our dear Geri loved baking her cookies and fruit cakes for the church, family and friends! She always had a kind word for everyone  and anytime someone was sick she was the first to send a get well card!
She always referred to my late husband, Stanley, as her boyfriend! That was always there on going joke!
Geri you will be missed, but heaven has gain an angel!! They will always have something sweet to eat!

We have been friends since the 1970s. Jerry was a wonderful loving friend.  She liked to stay busy and loved life.   We had some great times together.   We will miss her.  

Doris was a serious Catholic Daughter but also lots of fun.  We went to several CDA Conventions together .  On one occasion we dressed as pirates, at another we went as 50's teenagers in poodle skirts.  I have many happy memories of Doris. Sincere condolences to the family .


I met Doris when we became members of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 2260.  She was a very loving, caring and dedicated member or our Court.  When Doris was the Court's Regent (or other board position) she was very diligent in her duties and very knowledgeable in that position.  She was very eager to share her knowledge to new Regent(s) and members.  She was also very passionate about helping the residents of what is now called CareChoice of Boerne.  She would always attend "bingo date" and provide the residents with fruit punch and cookies baked by the CDA members as well as making sure she provided with donated prizes .  Doris was a good friend. She  was kind to me  and always greeted me with a smile.  She will be missed but never forgotten.  Rest in Peace my friend.  I love you always!
