Dont think of her as gone away,
her journey's just begun.
Life holds so many facets,

Just think of her as resting,
from the sorrows and the tears.
In a place of warmth and comfort,

Think of how she must be wishing,

Think of her as living

and she was loved so much.

My heart and prayers go out to the family.  I am so glad I got to meet Doris many years ago.  She had such a calm, loving spirit.  Hold on to the many memories and cling to God!  He will give you the strength and courage you need each day; and give you Peace.  Love to you all.

MOMMY DORIS , I didn't know you very well but your AWESOME Daughter Peggy ... I love her like she was mine and I thank you for having her so that I got to know her and Jenn , Michelle and Daniel. And I Thank you for you ! I know that you will be misses by all. Around 14 years ago I met Mom. From day 1 she accepted me, no questions asked. Through the years we became close and got to know each other real good. She enjoyed my odd since of humor and we laughed to tears a few times. She was my birthday buddy, my wrestling watching partner, and she was my friend. I looked forward to all her visits and never once did we fight or argue. She was patient with my kids, and still to this day I smile when I think about her shaking her fist or cane at Jonathan with a loving smerk on her face. I have a thousand memories of Mom but the one that meant the most to me is when she told me that things about me reminded her of her husband. At that moment I knew she loved me as I loved her. She is my Mom, I will love her forever and when my time comes I will be with her again. We were all blessed by her presents and anyone who took the time to get to know her was a better person for it. I will miss you like crazy but am at peace knowing your with Jesus in paradise for eternity.

I want to say a special thank you to all the church family and freinds that have been there to help Mom and Mary all these years.

Tiffany, You may never know how cherished you are to us. I'm greatful you have been there for Mary, Thank you. 

Pastor Charlie & Billy, words can not discribe my gratitude for you and being there every step of the way for Mom, Mary and all of us. Thank you so very much.

To my sisters....We come from strong roots, I know we all hurt now, I pray we always hold on to one another, always remember we are a phone call away and nothing will ever change who we are to one another I love each one of you..Mom is smiling down on us with God,Daddy and many others by her side ~Laurie,her youngest.

It has been a blessing to have you with us Mom.  I miss you more than words can ever express.  I'll remember you in so many ways.  The smell of fresh baked bread, a cool room, red lips and knitting.
