

She was predeceased by her son, Ralph E. Parker.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Martha S. Parker of Rochester, New York and her two grandchildren, Lauren E. Parker also of Rochester, New York and Steven M. Parker (Ingrid) of Superior, Colorado, Ben Dye, nephew of Lake Stevens, Washington and special friends, Sylvia and Fred Mills of San Antonio, Texas.
Throughout her life, the things most important to Doris were her family, church, friends and P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church since 1973, and a 64 year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Doris enjoyed travelling and was in the work force for many years, in a variety of positions. Doris was instrumental in developing the PEO Texas Star Oaks Home in San Antonio.
A special thank you to Sarah Helpinstill, who welcomed Doris to the Forum when she first moved in and was a special friend throughout her time there, and also a thank you to Betty Ann and Johnny Tompson.
