Raised in Houston, she attended Lamar High School. She graduated from Northwestern University. She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and the Service Club of Chicago.
She is survived by her three sons, David Dotter and wife, Sandra, James Dotter, M.D., and Thomas Dotter and wife Susan, and seven grandchildren.
She had a zest for life and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 29, 2011 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Houston.
