Dorothea Kost

Dorothy (Dee Dee) Kost passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at the age of 94. She was born on June 30, 1921 to the union of Eathel Hensley and William Thomas Allsup. Dorothy was next to youngest of nine children. After marrying her beloved husband Dr. Louis B. Kost, they settled in San Antonio to raise their four children. She spent her entire life enjoying her husband and family. She loved traveling, hunting, fishing, and especially loved having her children and grandchildren visit their Rockport coast house. The coast house memories are some of our most cherished! She was a woman of great wisdom, who accepted life as it came. Her laugh and her abundant love of life will live on in each of her loved one’s hearts forever.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her Husband Dr. Louis B. Kost , and her Son Dr. Dennis W. Kost. She is survived by her Children Lou Kost, Jr., Carla Hamon and her Husband Khan Hamon and Jana Wascher and her Husband Dr. Thomas Wascher; Daughter-in-law Susan Kost; 14 Grandchildren and 26 Great-grandchildren.
