

Born on May 24, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas, Dorothy lived a life marked by kindness, dedication, and love for family and friends.
Throughout life, she was known for her happy personality, love of people, all children, she was Nonna to many. She made a lasting impact through her love.
Dorothy found her greatest accomplishment in life were her children and grandchildren, and cherished time spent with loved ones. She was very talented and creative. She enjoyed flower arranging, painting and working in her yard. More than any accomplishment, Dorothy will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, unwavering support, and her love for people. The memories ared by family and friends will remain a lasting source of comfort.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Lucrie Mazzurana, husband Herschel Ankrom and is survived by her children, Elaine Lemp and husband Kurt, Scott Basse and wife Donna. Grandchildren Zachary Lemp and wife Harvest, and Dillon Basse, brother Art and sister-in-law Bonnie Mazzura nephew Jason Mazzurana and wife Helen and her best friend Geneva Wessel.
A special thank you to all the caregivers who touched our lives through our journey. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 1:00PM at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, Texas.
Though deeply missed, Dorothy's legacy of love, compassion, and the lives she touched will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
