

She spent many years as a dedicated third grade teacher, where she inspired countless children with patience, warmth, and encouragement.
Dorothy shared a wonderful life with her husband, Billy, traveling the country together in their RV. If there was a place they could park that RV, they were ready to explore it. Their adventures created many cherished memories and stories that she loved to share.
She also had a deep love for the outdoors. Dorothy enjoyed hunting and fishing and felt most at peace surrounded by nature. At home, she was an exceptional gardener whose yard overflowed with beautiful flowers that reflected her care.
Dorothy will be remembered for her adventurous heart, her love of family and friends, and the beauty she brought into the lives of others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 1:00PM at Rosewood Park Cemetery located at 1884 Farm to Market Rd 1844, Longview, TX 75605.
