Dorothy Alice Terrell Garcia

November 11, 1944- September 27, 2014

Dorothy Alice Terrell Garcia, age 69, of San Antonio, died on Saturday, September 27, 2014. She graduated from SBHS Class of '63. Alice had a Bachelors degree from TWU and a Masters degree in Library Science from The University of Texas.

She was a children's librarian for 14 years in Carmel, CA also 12 years in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a member of Community Bible Church where she was part of the Sewing Seeds Group which created books for children and were distributed by missionaries in Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Lee and Melva Terrell; nephew, Jason Green.

She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Miguel Garcia, USAF (Ret); sister, Amy Lou Willis (Robert) their five sons; sister, Betty T. Green; niece, Kathrynn Alice Green; and two great-nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of VITAS Hospice, Fresenius Medical Care Broadway, Regent Care Center and NE Baptist Hospital.

Guests are welcome to visit with the family prior to service.
