Dorothy Giles, 81, passed away Friday, January 13th, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Giles, her parents, James W. and Edith Pyland and her brother, James B. Pyland. She is survived by three daughters, Karen (Danny) Meyer of Rockport, Sharon (Steve) Pullen of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Danna Ryan of Birmingham, Alabama, as well as their families. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio on Sunday, Jan. 22nd, 3-5 pm. Graveside service will take place at Fort Sam Houston Cemetery on Monday, Jan. 23rd at 9:30 am.
