Dorothy C. Herron was born on December 23, 1928 in Bancroft, IA and passed away on February 9, 2013 in San Antonio, TX. She was very active in the community working with the NARFE, working with Bexar County Voters Registration Office, and teaching Special Education with NEISD.
Surviving are her sons, Michael Harrell and wife, Nancy, Harold Fischer; grandchildren; and her sister, Agnes Kosbabb and husband, Marvin.
Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana, 78218. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
