Dorothy R. Messina, age 89, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in San Antonio. She was born on June 26, 1924 in New York, New York, to Thomas and Margaret Reilly. Dorothy was part of the greatest generation. She served her country honorably in the United States Army during WWII. Dorothy was a long time resident of North Miami and West Palm Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by, her parents; brother, Joseph Reilly; and son, Keith Francis Messina. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Nicholas Messina; daughter Patricia Chisolm and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Jason Messina (Carrie), Nicole Ogle (Jamie), Colleen King (Shawn) and Nicholas Messina; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Troy Messina, Jackson Ogle and Brody King. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. David N. Lopez and Dr. Boulos Toursarkissian.
