Dorothy Helen Clanton Morris

Dorothy was a devoted and perfect mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church for over fifty years.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Renee Meriwether; son-in-law, David; her grandchildren whom she adored, Jenna Rose (husband David), and John Meriwether. Her great-grandchildren ("my girls"), Katelynn Grace Rose and Leah Renee Rose, never failed to brighten any day. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express thanks to Genitiva Hospice and Oxford Trace Residential Care for their careful attention to Dorothy over many weeks.

A graveside service for the family will be held at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery on Friday, November 28, at 9:00 a.m. Following at 11:00 a.m will be a memorial tribute for her life and witness at Trinity Baptist Church, 319 E. Mulberry, San Antonio, Texas. The Rev. Dr. David Meriwether will officiate. A reception will follow at the church.
