

She is survived by a son Bill L. Moses, his wife Diana and a daughter Keri L. Heckman, and her husband David. Two sisters Mary Jane Stuebben and husband, Thomas and Patricia Butts and husband, James. She has 5 grandchildren.
Dorothy was born February 27th, 1943 to Dorothy and Harry Eugene Gosnell. She graduated from Providence High School in 1961. She attended Seaton School of Nursing in Austin, Texas and St. Vincent's School of Nursing in California receiving her RN.
She earned a BSN degree from the University of California at Chico, graduating Magna Cum Laude; a Masters Degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with highest honors and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas, Austin. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi at the University of Texas and the Outstanding Young Women of America.
She taught at the University of the Incarnate Word and the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio for over 12 years. Dr. Moses worked as an RN at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital, Audie L. Murphy V.A. hospital and Valley Baptist Hospital, Harlingen, Texas. She authored two medical books and co-authored one. She was a sought after lecturer, participated in numerous research projects and received many awards during her career.
During the mid-70's, she was instrumental in the development of the EMS system for San Antonio. She was a devoted Catholic who had a deep passion for her nursing career and helping others.
She will be loved and missed by all.
