Dorothy M. Poth, age 81 of San Antonio, born in Breckenridge, Texas, June 28, 1920 to Lee and Artie Sanders, went to be with her Savior, August 29, 2001 at the age of 81. She was a fiercely independent woman who was deeply devoted to her church family and neighbors. She led a very active life working for the Frost National Bank for 18 years. Mrs. Poth was an active member of the Elysian Club, Alamo Unit Air Stream Club, St. John's Altar Society, Eucharistic Minister and the Choir and Regina Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Oscar L. Poth. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Cunningham and husband, Joe; son, Richard Thomas and wife, Donna; daughter, Jacqueline Poth; grandchildren, Melina McLeod and husband, Alex, Jeanice Martin and husband, Charles, Ricky Thomas and Wendel Thomas; great grandchildren, Dillon Martin, Brenna Martin, Blaire McLeod, Morgan McLeod and Tara Shea McLeod; sister, Doris Gunn and husband, Delbert; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
