Mother is preceded in death by her sister, Bettye Jane Diess and her parents, Earl Maynard Baker and Gladys Wharton Baker.
Mother was well known for her love of animals, devoting her life to their care and protection.
Mother is survived by her children: Baker Shaw and wife, Shane; Miranda Melland and husband, Robert and Brett Shaw; nieces and nephew: Diana Mysleweic, Paula Roberts and David Diess; grandchildren: Lindsey Shaw, Luke Shaw, Brandon Melland, Austin Melland, and Melissa Shaw; great grandson, Aidan Melland; and her valued, long-time friend, Martha Ramon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to local Animal Shelters and Rescue/Rehabilitation Facilities.
