Dorothy E. "Lila" Wade of San Antonio, TX age 88 passed away Friday, April 21, 2005. She was born in Rossville, TN to Charlie Frank and Ada Thomas on December 5, 1916. She had been a resident of San Antonio since 1969. The family is grateful for the loving providence of our great God throughout Lila's life.
he loved the Lord Jesus and served Him with all her heart, strength, mind and hands. She was the recipient of incalculable acts of kindness assistance by her church family for fifteen years. Special gratitude is expressed Lin and Jane Jolly, the Reverend Joe Sahl and her other dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. James Edwin Wade. Lila is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Wade Beaver and her husband Alan of Plant City, FL; Sara Elizabeth Marinaccio and her husband David of Grand Island, NY; sister, Freddie Mae Thomas of Rossville, TN; grandchildren, Wendy, Jon-Marc, Rebecca, Heather, Joshua and Amanda; sisters-in-law, Junette Arcus and Christine Wade.
