Dorothy "Dottie" Woods, age 62, a loving mother, grandmother and sister went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a member and secretary of the VFW Post No. 837 in San Antonio. Dorothy was an avid bingo player. She was preceded in death by her fathers, Jesse Jack Eastham and Virgil Smith. Survivors: daughter, Jana Gordillo and husband, Pedro; mother, Genevieve Smith; 4 grandchildren and 4 sisters. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 23, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Porter Loring.
