Douglas “Doug” M. Broemer, age 53, went into the hands of God on January 8, 2011. He was born on December 12, 1957 in San Antonio, TX. He was a people person who was well loved and will be missed by all who knew him. Doug was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Meyer Broemer and father, Herbert O. Broemer.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” Broemer; sisters, Ruth Jones & her husband Larry, Carole Broemer , Mary Broemer, and Cathy Broemer; daughters, Dee Wunderlich & her husband Wayne and Nena Walther; numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great grandchildren; good friend and business partner, Dr. Chandra Singh.
Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Friday, January 14, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Sunset Serenity Mausoleum. Rev. Dan Toepperwein officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
